VOCABULARY
You will be given 5 terms to study, which will be the focus of the lesson. You will learn their meanings and be asked to form sentences using those terms.
The vocabulary terminology may include:
- v = verb
- n = noun
- adj = adjective
- adv = adverb
- phr v = phrasal verb
- v + n = verb + noun (collocation)
You can discover the meaning of each term thanks to the platform’s integrated AI. Simply click on the word or phrase and a text will be generated with its meaning, including a practical example, so you can understand both the meaning and its real-life usage.
You can also listen to the pronunciation of the vocabulary terms.
Additionally, you will be able to view the translation of vocabulary terms by clicking on "View translation".
The vocabulary translation will be displayed in the language you have set in your profile. Access this article to see how to change it.

TEACHER’S ROLE
Teachers prepare lessons in advance, adapting them to each student’s level and reviewing previously completed lessons to ensure a personalized learning experience.
Teachers enter the classroom with a well-prepared outline, starting the conversation with a brief summary of the previous lesson and asking the student to read the vocabulary and explain the meaning of different terms. The lesson then continues with open-ended questions (remember, this is a conversation, not an interrogation!).
The Twenix methodology is designed to deliver fun, effective, and beneficial lessons: 26 minutes of pure learning and an enjoyable, engaging conversation.
TIPS
We recommend studying the vocabulary in advance so that you become familiar with the terms and can have a smooth conversation with your teacher. However, this is not mandatory, as our integrated AI will help you learn and understand the meaning of terms in real time!
