In this article, we explain what support materials are, what you can use them for, and how to access and download them before your class.
What are support materials?
Support materials are complementary resources that accompany some microcourse content.
They include visual materials, images, scenarios and activities related to the class content. They are designed to help you better understand the context and prepare for the practice you will do with your tweacher.
What are they for?
You can use these materials before your class to:
- Review the microcourse content.
- Familiarize yourself with the vocabulary and expressions you will work on during the session.
- Better understand the topic of the class.
- Get an initial introduction to the content before the session.
These materials are a support resource and do not replace the class with your tweacher.
Which microcourses are they available in?
For now, support materials are available only in some SEED (A2) level microcourses.
Availability may vary depending on the microcourse.
Important: for the time being, support materials are available only in selected English microcourses.
How can I download them?
When support materials are available for a piece of content, you can access them directly from the microcourse content.
- Log in to your account on the Twenix platform.
- In the 'My path' section, click on the class box you want to book.
- The class learning content will appear on the right-hand side.
- Click on the 'an image of the dialogue' link.
- Download the material so you can consult it before your class.
Once downloaded, you can consult the materials before starting your class and use them as support to review the content.
We recommend reviewing the materials before joining your class to familiarize yourself with the content and be better prepared for the conversation with your tweacher.
You don't need to memorize the materials. Use them as support to review, contextualize and prepare the content you will work on during your class.
