The Foundation level (A1) will allow you to begin studying the language from the very basics.
The Foundation phase is divided into two stages:
- LEVEL FOUNDATION 1-2: I can say hello and goodbye, and I can introduce myself. I can use simple words and phrases about things around me and my daily life. I know some words but I often need to ask what words mean.
- LEVEL FOUNDATION 3-4: I can ask and answer simple questions about myself and everyday life. I'm able to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and basic phrases. I can talk about what I like and don't like using simple words.
The Foundation stage includes 4 groups of microcourses:

We recommend selecting and completing the microcourses in order (all the microcourses in Foundation 1, then moving on to the microcourses in Foundation 2, etc.).
